Please, at the very least for FSM's sake, don't be weird in my DMs - no flirting, no rudeness, no creepiness, no people that are double or half my age, just be respectful, appropriate, and human. This space is for people with good intentions. I'm open to talking about tech, the IndieWeb, contemporary events, collaborating or helping on projects, helping out with bug reports and tech-related questions, discussing professional or organisational ties, etc. All the sane stuff!
Also important to note that if I block you, it's nothing personal - just me setting boundaries. Please don't try to bypass blocks or take it to heart - I want to keep the interactions healthy and reasonable.
Notably I'd like to clarify something: I am not your friend. This isn't to say I'm unfriendly - I strive to be as helpful as possible (and it's fine to be casual and non-tense around me — I don't know how to portray the exact vibe, I'm not your boss, just don't be overly familiar or like expect more than a quick interaction, let's keep things respectful and practical), however, I want to make it clear that I'm not seeking new friendships or strictly casual interactions, and I don't want to give the impression that I am. If you have any questions or need assistance, I'm more than happy to help, but please remember that I am simply a parasocial figure - you don't know me, so kindly avoid treating me as a friend :) I'm just a silly person in the indietech space. I appreciate kind-hearted and good-willing messages if you have any, just not open for new people this dilly-dally...
